This piece officially ended an era of attempting to rende real-world objects without the aid of source material. The hope was to liberate the left side of the brain and produce more stylized forms, ostensibly to synthesize my rendering abilities and proclivity for abstraction. The end result in most cases, however, is nothing spectacular given the amount of time needed to produce anything worthwhile. Did this or any similar piece made during my "no look" phase greatly benefit from not referring to photos of the actual objects? Doubtful, but it was worth a try.
